Hi,

Just started using CintaNotes.

Is there a way to NOT display the tags in the Notes list?

Welcome to the forums Yes, go into the View menu and remove the tick from Tag Sidebar by clicking on it (or alternatively, hit F5 on your keyboard to do the same thing).

Thank you for the reply. Your suggestion removes the tag sidebar.
What I am trying to do is hide the tags under title in the notes list section.

In the notes list, each item has a title / tags / note description. I am hide the description by setting max lines to zero. However I couldnt find any option to hide the tags under the title.

Thanks a lot for a good question.

At the moment unfortunately there's no way not to display the tags for notes that have them.

But this is already on our roadmap, and it has a lot of votes:

So it is reasonable to expect this implemented in one of the next versions (but not before 3.0 though).

You can also make tags smaller via editing the app.mainframe.tagsidebar.font setting in the cintanotes.settings file, e.g.
set it to "Arial;5;400;0"

Looked at the roadmap link and saw a comment "Where exactly would tags be placed in "Inline" mode?"

Is there any option called Inline Mode?

Not yet. "Inline" mode for tags is when tags are placed to the right of the title, when there's place for them.

It supports hiding tags completely via the "Display tags" option in the "Options/Notes List" config. window
