first of all - Great Job. Simple, fast and powerfull soft!
1) but it doesn't have very useful feature - encryption. I think it very important to protect my database. I really want to store my passwords and logins in CintaNotes, but i can't until its database be protected.
2) another feature is tag sidebar modification:
for example i have 2 notes
first has 2 tags - game ball
second 1 tag - game
now if I click "game" in sidebar CintaNotes will select it and it will select all other tags connected with tag "game"
i think more usefull approach will be select tag "game" and HIDE all tags which are not connected to tag "game"
then if I click tag "ball", this tag is selected too and then CintaNotes hides all tags which are not connected with "game" and "ball" (when you will have 100 tags it will simplify navigating alot)
then if I click tag "ball" again - it deselects and CintaNotes will show all tags which are connected to selected tag "game"
another idea is to add search bar for tag sidebar (it will be usefull only i user has >50 tags)
3) clip text very useful for me feature and I think will be nice to have an opportunity to choose not activate CintaNotes window when user uses hotkey
ps encryption mast have!!!
plz plz plz

Talking about encryption I think there should be an option to encrypy not only the whole database but only (a) certain tag(s). Also another option to encrypt a single note.
Yes, I think too that encryption is very important!

You should use KeePass to manage passwords.
CN is great to managing notes, but I wouldn't recommend it for passwords.

Why not?
I want all my data to be placed in one place.
Don't you?

Hello and thanks for the message.
Encryption support is already on the roadmap, and here is the discussion with the poll: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=105

@oded: Why not just keep your database in a Truecrypt container?

Because I don't want to type a password every time I look for a phone number or some other info (which I do a lot!)
Being able to protect only tags or notes I choose will let me work with cintanotes fluently and flawlessly

Suggestion: when multiple notebooks file functionality is implemented in an upcoming version of CintaNotes, you'll have the option to keep just what you want to encrypt in a separate notebook encrypted inside a Truecrypt container -- you'd have what you want without having to wait for the commercial version. Meanwhile, you can still do that by switching notebooks or by running multiple instances of CN (preferably in separate folders)... hope this helps.

Thank you Midas,
I guess that's what I'll do meanwhile (but look forward eagerly for the encryption feature to be added to CN.. )

Midas, I would love to implement one of your suggestions but I'm not sure how to do it
I don't need multiple instances of CN at the same time. Just one at any given time. But I must be sure that each database is saved and backuped to it's correct location...
Can you help please?
Thanks,
Oded.

DennisG has already answered that better than I would. I have quoted his answer in the T&T sticky here: http://cintanotes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=156&p=3016#p3016
