Turn off hint preview

Hi Alex,

is there an option to turn off the preview of linked notes? I have problems, when a hint window does stay on top, after i switch to another application.

Thanks for your message! No, atm in can't be turned off. However this definitely sounds like a bug that needs to be fixed immediately.
Do you have a way of reproducing it?

Hi Alex,

it's rather simple.

Steps to reproduce

* create a note and add some lines to it
* save the note
* press ctrl+alt+c to copy the link
* create a note and paste the link of the first note into it
* move the mouse cursor onto the link
* press Alt+Tab and switch to the first note

On my pc the hint of the second note window is still shown In case the two windows lay above each other this is really annoying.

Hi Alex,

this is still an issue to me. It was quite ok for some time, but over the last months (?) this has become a disturbing issue again. I don't have a benefit of the feature. I suggest to make the preview optional by introducing a setting.

Hi Thomas,
It seems to be an oversight that this issue hasn't been fixed yet. Thanks for reminding about it.
Unfortunately 3.13 is already frozen, but I'll include it into 3.14, which is planned a few weeks later.
Of course as soon as we fix the issue the beta with the fix will be available as well.
